Plan your visit

Summer is a peak season for strawberry picking. To ensure you have a lovely variety of berries to pick, check the online availability of the berries at the nearby strawberry farm.

Bring your own containers

Bring reusable containers from home to help the environment and save money. Some strawberry farms charge an additional fee for containers.

Select ripe strawberries

The last thing you want is unripe berries. Pick only red, juicy strawberries and let the green ones continue to grow. This way, you’ll get tasty strawberries, and someone else can pick the other berries when they’re ready.

Avoid food waste

Only pick what you can consume. Picking more than you can eat or cook is a waste of food.

Do not eat strawberries as you pick them
