All Year Round Camping on Club Sites

Just because summer comes to an end, it doesn’t mean that the camping season is over. Some of our Club Sites remain open all-year-round, allowing you the opportunity to see what the country has to offer through spring, summer, autumn and winter. We’ve compiled a guide to the Club Sites that are open 12 months a year, as well as a few reasons as to why you should visit each one.

All year round sites in Midlands

1. Blackmore Club Site, Worcestershire

All-year-round Blackmore

Situated in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, Blackmore Club Site is perfectly located for meandering walks in the rolling Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This award-winning campsite is just a mile’s stroll from the picturesque hamlet of Hanley Swan, home to two cosy country pubs. If you are ever caught in typically temperamental British weather, spend some time playing pool in the recreation room.

2. Conkers Club Site, Derbyshire

All-year-round Conkers

Nestled in the centre of the National Forest, Conkers Club Site is the ideal campsite for a family holiday. As well as various walking and cycling routes from the campsite, the National Forest also offers horse riding, fishing and numerous days out, such as Calke Abbey, the National Brewery Centre and the National Memorial Arboretum.

3. Kingsbury Water Park Club Site, West Midlands

All-year-round Kinsbury Water Park

Borrowing its name from the country park on which it’s located, Kingsbury Water Park Club Site is a peaceful oasis set among the industrial Midlands. Covering over 600 acres of woodland, lakes and trails, Kingsbury Water Park lies adjacent to the campsite. Hop in the car and take a trip to nearby attractions such as the Black Country Living Museum, Cadbury World and the UK’s second-biggest city – Birmingham.

4. Teversal Club Site, Nottinghamshire

All-year-round Teversal

Located in the Nottinghamshire countryside, a short drive from the Peak District National Park, Teversal Club Site is an award-winning campsite boasting fantastic facilities and hedge-lined pitches. From the site, wander along the winding Teversal Trails. Take a trip to nearby attractions such as Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth House and Bolsover Castle.

5. Delamere Forest Club Site, Cheshire

All-year-round Delamere Forest

Set in Cheshire’s largest area of woodland, Delamere Forest Club Site is a wonderful campsite with access to various walking and cycling opportunities in the nearby forest. Spend a day out at nearby attractions including Chester Zoo, Delamere Forest and Chester Cathedral. Delamere train station is a short walk from the campsite and offers transport to metropolitan cities such as Chester and Manchester.

6. Keswick Club Site, Cumbria

All-year-round Keswick

Pitch your unit on the shores of Derwentwater, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the UK. Situated in the Cumbrian market town of the same name, Keswick Club Site is the perfect base from which to explore the Lake District National Park. Whether you’re a general stroller or a seasoned rambler, there are various walking routes from the campsite, offering some of the most spectacular views in the country.

7. Moffat Club Site, Scotland

All-year-round Moffat

Situated in the rolling hills of the Scottish Lowlands, Moffatt Club Site sits in a broad valley and boasts magnificent scenery of the local countryside. Boasting both weekly and monthly produce markets, the Victorian spa town of Moffat is just a 5-minute walk from the campsite. Take some time to marvel at the spectacular waterfall at Grey Mare’s Tail and explore the fascinating history of Drumlanrig Castle.

8. Canterbury Club Site, Kent

All-year-round Canterbury

Camp on the outskirts of the historic city of Canterbury and discover a city packed with history, heritage and culture. Lying just one mile from Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine’s Abbey, our Canterbury Club Site is a well-laid out campsite with impressive facilities and pristine pitches. Take a day trip to the seaside town of Whitstable and sample their world-famous oysters.

9. Chertsey Club Site, Surrey

All-year-round Chertsey

Pitch your unit on the banks of the River Thames and watch as the water flows past peacefully. If you’re looking for a day-out for the family, hop aboard a train and find yourself in the centre of London in under an hour. Alternatively, head to Legoland or Thorpe Park for an adventure-filled day out.

10. Hertford Club Site, Hertfordshire

All-year-round Hertford

Located in the county town of Hertfordshire, our Hertford Club Site is a spacious and peaceful campsite offering almost 250 spacious and secluded pitches. The local countryside is ideal for keen cyclists, and the National Cycle Network is just over a mile from the campsite. Take a day-trip to nearby attractions such as Paradise Wildlife Park, Hertford Castle and the Warner Bros Studio Tour London.

11. Theobalds Park Club Site, Hertfordshire

All-year-round Theobalds Park

Set just 15 miles from Central London, our Theobalds Park Club Site is the perfect base from which to explore the capital. Despite its proximity to the M25, the campsite is a tranquil site in the heart of the Hertfordshire countryside. Catch a train to the city centre from Waltham Cross, and explore iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye.

12. Devizes Club Site, Wiltshire

All-year-round Devizes

Set beside the Avon and Kennet Canal, our Devizes Club Site is a tranquil and secluded retreat in rural Wiltshire. Spend some time at local attractions, including the Caen Hill Locks, Wadworth Brewery and the Westbury White Horse. From the campsite, wander into the market town of Devizes and find independent shops and local eateries.

13. Oxford Club Site, Oxfordshire

All-year-round Oxford

Situated just one mile from the historic university city, our Oxford Club Site offers you access to both the city and countryside. Walk into the centre to discover famous landmarks like the university colleges, Oxford Castle and Bodleian Library. Head into the country for excellent walks and bike rides, as well as a historic day-out at Blenheim Palace.

14. Tavistock Club Site, Devon

All-year-round Tavistock

Boasting spectacular views of Dartmoor National Park, our Tavistock Club Site is a pretty campsite offering plentiful walking and cycling opportunities in the Devon countryside. Just two miles from the site, Tavistock is a market town, ancient stannary and one of the prettiest settlements in the county. From the campsite, spend the day exploring idyllic villages such as Sheepstor and historical landmarks such as Lydford Castle.
