Like a previous review I normally do not write reviews but due to some very negative reviews I feel I have to. 1, The staff are very friendly and booked us in on very short notice. There was no electric pitches due to the site being managed properly to look after the grass pitches during the winter months but still be able to stay open, excellent idea and was offered electric pitch for the 2nd night 2, The site is kept in perfect condition by staff who work very hard and enjoy what they do. Not all pitches are level but this is normal and mentioned on the write up. 3, The facilities are dated but perfectly clean and everything working perfect, what else do we need. 4, location for Oxford is perfect and the park & ride outside the gate every 10 minutes is excellent value. Oxford is a great city. Conclusion: we will go back again and loved our weekend city break. We highly recommend this site if you want to visit Oxford and surrounding area

Handy site for Oxford, we took bikes and enjoyed cycling down the Thames path which took 12 minutes to the centre. Staff were friendly and helpful and facilties were always clean and perfectly acceptable albeit slightly dated. Its an urban site so there is some noise from the road and nearby train line but the payoff of being so close to Oxford city centre was worth it. We will return!

The site was as advertised.

This review is for Oxford

The site was as advertised. Plus factors are friendly staff, well maintained site, clean facilities, lots of bins, plenty of hot water, heated toilet/shower block. I don't normally send in a review, but felt I ought to when I read some of the previous reviews.
