In the Northumberland National Park, perfect for outdoor activities and great days out.

Located in the Northumberland National Park and Northumberland International Dark Sky Park – considered to be the most tranquil place in the UK – our Bellingham Club campsite will appeal to campers looking for a relaxing break as well as those seeking adventure.

This is a level, well maintained 70 pitch campsite with modern facilities including a shop, short dog walk, children’s play area, warm indoor social space, kitchen, drying room, family wet room and games room.

There are numerous walking and cycling opportunities from the site. Walk to the busy village of Bellingham (20 mins) and then to the magical Hareshaw Linn waterfall through ancient woodland. Enjoy a walk along the North Tyne riverbank, fish for salmon, cycle the quiet lanes to Greenhaugh village, or spend the day in Kielder Water and Forest Park, northern Europe’s largest man-made lake (25 mins drive). At Kielder, there are many cycle trails, fishing and watersports. As befits an International Dark Sky Park, the area has exceptionally low light pollution and offers breathtaking night skies. A visit to the Kielder Observatory takes you closer to the stars.

Stayed here over new year and were made very welcome.

Stayed here over new year and were made very welcome. With drinks and nibbles on new years eve and quiz and film night on new year night. David and Johanna our hosts could not have been more helpful. Bellingham is a brisk twenty minute walk and has some good pubs and shops. Enjoyed a three mile stroll out to the waterfall at Hareshaw Linn. The site is very close to the Kielder Dark Sky Park. We would recommend this sight and will be back again soon.

Just returned from a 2 night break, excellent site ran by 2 lovely people. Really clean, spacious washing/toilet facilities and well stocked shop. Visit was made even better by a fun free games night with snacks and soft drinks provided (prizes too!) other sites could learn a lot from the owners hospitality and organisation. Would highly recommend and will be returning. Lots of info given at check in about the local area and a lovely walk into the nearby village of Bellingham. A site that definitely has the personal touch.

We had stayed on this site in summer 2017 & decided to return for one of the star gazing breaks. It was amazing to see so many shooting stars on a very clear but very cold night. The site team worked very hard to ensure everyone had an enjoyable break. On the 1st night the hot chocolate was a real treat, along with the home-made shortbread, then on the 2nd night the warm mulled wine was another welcome treat. Great walks from the site, the village is only a short stroll away with a well stocked co-op, bakery & butchers. We so enjoyed our break & look forward to returning.

Just a night on this nice little site, lovely area and lots of helpful info from reception which will no doubt tempt us back. We took a ten minute stroll down to the Tyne and the village is a further ten minutes or so on via a riverside park. Very peaceful little site, good winter time pitching and obviously popular, many thanks.
