Overview
Come and enjoy a relaxing, quiet time in the Eden Valley with lots of walks to take and villages nearby to cycle through. Our local shop is 3.5 miles away located in Shap, enjoy our
famous community pub; The Butchers Arms (only 200 yards down the road.) The Lake District being not far away from us to enjoy a stroll around the Lakes or a picnic to enjoy. Many historic buildings to take in including Lowther Castle, Appleby and Brougham castle plus many more which are nearby. There is so much walking, wildlife, history and much more to enjoy!
This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland
