Overview
Located between picturesque Bowness-on-Windermere and the bustling market town of Kendal, our Windermere Club Site is ideally situated for exploring the stunning beauty of the Lake District National Park.
Sit back and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this campsite, surrounded by plentiful wildlife and beautiful views. Our spacious Windermere Club Site boasts a separate tent camping area, backpacker facility, a family camping area, and children’s play area.
After a busy day exploring the Lakes The Whistling Pig, the onsite bar is the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a well earned drink.
Across the fields lies the village of Staveley, as well as a shop, supermarket, pubs. Take a walk from the campsite to Potters Fell or Reston Scar.
Windermere offers plenty of water-based activities including cruises, canoeing and windsurfing. Take some time to visit local attractions such as the World of Beatrix Potter and Aquarium of the Lakes.
Hop aboard the chain ferry to the western side of the lake and visit the charming village of Hawkshead. Pay a visit to Claife Heights, a National Trust woodland great for walking, cycling and wildlife spotting.
At the southern tip of the lake, Fell Foot Park is perfect for picnics or a swim in the lake.
Camping pods are available at this campsite.
