Overview

Great site for exploring the pretty Cotswolds towns and their attractions.

Amid the honey-coloured villages of the Cotswolds is where you’ll find the Club’s charming Chipping Norton campsite. Tucked away off the beaten track, this campsite offers a mix of level and sloping pitches, surrounded by trees and dry stone walls.

It would a shame not to venture off site and explore the beauty of the Cotswolds. Hop in your car or catch the bus right outside the site and discover the charms of Chipping Norton itself, Chadlington, Charbury and Witney for starters.

No stay at Chipping Norton campsite should be without a visit to Stow on the Wold, Bourton-on-the- Water and Batsford. As well as brimming with charm, they boast an eclectic mix of family attractions including Birdland and a model village in Bourton. Batsford Arboretum and Hidcote Manor are also worth visiting.

If you'd like to go glamping then Chipping Norton Ready Camp is the perfect choice. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Worth Noting

Some pitches are sloping so chocks will be required. The site has full recycling facilities. This site has no Motorhome Service Area.

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

A Farmers’ Market takes place on the third Saturday of the month in Chipping Norton and there are several farm shops in the area. The butcher sells locally-reared meat.

Booked for five nights over the October Bank holiday.

This review is for Chipping Norton

Booked for five nights over the October Bank holiday. Thankfully it seems not many people brave the October weather, so we had lots of space to ourselves. The kids loved the park and riding their bikes round all week. The dog loved the farm field next door, we all loved the local towns and country walks. Will be going back to this site for sure. Lastly! The showers and toilets must be new here, they are the cleanest and best I have seen on a campsite.

Our first time at a 'club' site.

This review is for Chipping Norton

Our first time at a 'club' site. The facilities were spotless and the toilet block was lovely and warm, liked the separate wash basin cubicles as well, nice touch. There was quite a lot of noise from the road which was just the other side of the hedge, this did quieten at night though. Well placed for exploring. We got a warm welcome, however don't arrive before 1pm, you will not be let in!

This site is a lovely little site for caravans and camper vans but not good for tents as we broken every peg we own and had to go out to buy rock pegs, which should be recommended on the website due to how hard the ground is. Another local camper even said he had bent a rock peg. It took us over three hours to peg our medium tent which normally takes approximately 20 minutes. I doubt we would stay here again.
