Overview

School House Farm is within easy reach of the M20 and channel ports, offering a peaceful stop in the heart of the Weald of Kent, known as the Garden of England. Surrounded by oast houses, apple orchards, and charming villages, theres plenty to explore, including Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, Leeds Castle, or an easy train trip to London. A country pub serving food is just a five-minute walk across the fields from our camp Additional Words (website): Welcome to School House Farm, a tranquil campsite in the heart of the Weald of Kent, known as the Garden of England. Easily accessible via the M20 motorway and channel ports, it’s an ideal retreat for UK and international visitors. Our peaceful 4-acre field, surrounded by Bluebell woods and ancient hedges, offers spacious, private pitches nestled in wildflowers, creating a serene “at one with nature” feel. The site features a fishing lake, home to diverse aquatic life, including Kingfishers, enhancing the natural charm of the setting. Modern, heated facilities ensure your comfort, with clean toilets and a high-spec shower. School House Farm is surrounded by picturesque oast houses, apple orchards, and charming, timber-framed villages. There’s plenty to explore, from local treasures like Sissinghurst Castle Gardens and Leeds Castle, to a relaxing, stress-free train trip into London for a day in the city. For dining, a country pub serving food is conveniently located just a five-minute walk across the fields. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful stopover or an extended stay, School House Farm offers the perfect blend of natural beauty, comfort, and convenience.

 

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

 

*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland
