Handy for Poole, Bournemouth and the sandy beaches of the south coast.

The seaside resorts of the south coast and the beautiful New Forest are all within easy reach of our Verwood Club campsite. Situated around seven miles west of the New Forest, Verwood offers tranquil setting to camp.

The campsite, bordered by trees offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches. Its newly refurbished facilities include a family shower room and, a well-equipped washing up and laundry area. For younger campers there is a play area and a games room with snooker table and board games. Dogs and their owners will enjoy the wooded dog walk.

You won’t be short of things to do from this campsite. If you’re planning to explore the New Forest, head to Lyndhurst and the New Forest Centre and Museum. Two miles from here is the New Forest Reptile Centre where you could see all of Britain’s reptiles in one place. The forest more than caters for walkers and cyclists with miles of way-marked tracks.

Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Palace House and Abbey, Bucklers Hard and the spectacular Exbury Gardens are popular days out from the site. Families will particularly enjoy Splashdown Water Park, Paultons Family Theme Park and the Moors Valley Country Park (including Go Ape!).

Just a sixteen mile drive from the campsite delivers you to the sandy beaches of the Bournemouth and Poole area.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

We have stayed many times and it is well positioned for The New Forest, North Dorset and it's lovely villages and still only half an hour from the sea. A really nicely laid out site with a good variety of pitches. One of the best dog walks direct from any site. Facilities are modern and clean. The staff have been great for the last couple of years but they changed this year. Not to worry though as the new wardens are just as friendly and helpful.

We were greeted warmly and shown to our pitches.

This review is for Verwood, New Forest

We were greeted warmly and shown to our pitches. Given a clear indication of what was expected and the fire break required. Our pitch was shown very clearly (in a nice way) and all of the facilities pointed out. The site is slightly hilly and not all level. it is very clean and tidy, very well maintained. The wash up area and showers were always quiet. I never had to queue for any. They were always clean and tidy too. The showers are of a good size and if you need to shower a youngster plenty of room. It seemed quiet here - there didn't seem to be very many people about - despite the site being fairly full of (mostly) caravans. Our pitch was at the far end of the camp site and on the first morning woken by tree surgery (very noisy and early) . There is a fairly busy road along this side too so there was constant traffic noise (not heavy traffic but regular) and quite speedy so more noisy. This put me off of this camp site so probably wouldn't choose to return here next time for that reason alone. Perhaps another pitch at the other end of the site would be better and less noisy? They had big ready tents here too which looked great if you want to camp without the hassle :) But definitely cannot fault any of the staff, or the maintenance or cleanliness of this site.

We stayed at Verwood with our 3.5 yr old twins for 4 nights.

This review is for Verwood, New Forest

We stayed at Verwood with our 3.5 yr old twins for 4 nights. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very helpful on arrival. The site is clean and tidy and the pitch was well kept. The toilet/shower facilities were clean and well maintained. The visitor information was really handy. We enjoyed fish and chips from the mobile van which comes Tuesdays and Saturdays. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend the site for other families.
