Overview
We are Located in Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire, a central location to enjoy Sherwood Forest and all other local attractions. We are a small tranquil site set amidst 6 acres and we welcome families, couples and groups. Our site is 5 minutes away from numerous tourist attractions, pubs, restaurants, children farms and adventure land all within walking distance so there is always something to do.
We have direct access onto the Robin Hood Way (a popular walking and cycling route) which links to numerous other cycling and walking routes connecting Sherwood Forest, Blidworth Woods, Vicars Water, Clumber Park, Rufford Park, the Southwell Trail and beyond, making this site perfect for both cycling and walking enthusiasts. It is always a great spot for bird watchers due to the nearby woods and green lands which is easily accessible from the site along a public footpath. This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
*Tents are not permitted on some CS sites in Scotland.
