Overview
Located on the River Ure, this campsite is a great spot for walking or visiting nearby York.
Our pretty Boroughbridge Club campsite in north Yorkshire, just off the A1, is a great stop over site for those travelling up or down the country. Equally, its location close the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks makes it a good base for those wanting to explore Yorkshire’s many attractions.
There are a number of walking opportunities nearby. The old town of Boroughbridge is within walking distance. There are a few circular walks from the site, or you can enjoy a stroll along the river from Roecliffe to Ripon.
The delightful Harrogate – great for shopping and Betty’s Tearoom – and the city of York – with its famous minster and the Jorvik Viking Centre – are a drive away while Fountains Abbey, Studley Royall and Newby Hall make interesting days out.
Self-catering accommodation is available at this site. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the self-catering properties). Available to buy are stunning holiday caravans and lodges. Visit the Club Holiday Homes website to find out more or call 02477 983801.
WiFi
100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. More information.

Worth Noting
This site floods – restrictions on awnings and availability of pitches. Some all-weather all service pitches are available. Cars must remain on site overnight, please seek advice from the Holiday Site Manager. No boat launching from site. Noise can be heard from the local dairy and from the A1.
Eat Local
Boroughbridge town has a good butcher, a grocer that sells local produce and a farm shop on Ripon Road.
