Best for

Adventurers, long-distance travellers, walkers, wildlife spotters

Located about 15 miles north of Inverness, Dingwall Club Site is the ideal launchpad for campers looking to explore the Scottish Highlands or take in some of the North Coast 500 route. But it’s also a great destination in its own right, with fabulous hiking in the Black Isle Peninsula and great wildlife spotting opportunities at Cromarty Firth.

Riverside parks

This well laid out campsite caters for all unit types and has many secluded pitches sheltered by trees and hedges. There’s an amenities block and also dedicated accessible facilities. A short walk takes you into Dingwall, which is a bustling town with great places to eat, a railway station, and a pretty park by the River Peffery.

Wonderful wildlife

This region is known for its rare wildlife, including red kites, ospreys, and even dolphins in the firth sometimes. A short drive south can take you into Inverness, which is full of historic charm and home to interesting attractions such as Inverness Museum, a Victorian market, and the famous Leakey’s Bookshop. Football fans will love the fact that this site is right next door to the home stadium of Ross County FC.

Whether you use it as a launchpad for the Highlands or enjoy the beautiful walking scenery in the local area, book a stay at Dingwall to experience stunning Scotland.
