Overview
Our Club Site on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
If you are making a tent booking, please call the site directly on 01470 582230.
Head to Loch Greshornish on the beautiful Isle of Skye and you’ll find our Skye Club campsite. It boasts an idyllic location right on the loch shore where campers enjoy stunning views over the water to the hills beyond.
This campsite is on a working croft. Magnificent Highland cattle and sheep graze close by and you can buy fresh laid duck and hen eggs at the site shop along with most essentials. There are hardstanding pitches for caravanners and motorhomers with plenty of these pitches enjoying the views. You can go glamping at Skye campsite too. Two Camping Pods and Yurts provide cosy accommodation for those who perhaps fancy leaving their own units at home.
A visit to Dunvegan Castle on the Isle’s west coast is a must. It sits on a rocky outcrop betwixt sea and manicured gardens. Seal spotting boat trips operate from the castle jetty. Not far from the castle, Caligan Coral beach is a fantastic place to spend the day. Portree is the main town on Skye, set round a harbour you’ll find the Aros Centre. As well as theatre, films and concerts it’s here you’ll find out more about the Isle through a series of exhibitions.
If you'd like to go Isle of Skye Glamping, Skye Club Site have Camping Pods and Yurts available to stay in.
Skye hold the AA 4 Pennant award 2020-2021.
Worth Noting
If travelling from Glasgow via your SatNav, use Invergary as a waypoint to avoid Mallaig Ferry. Satellite dish essential for TV reception. Formaldehyde-free toilet fluid only. Panoramic Loch views with open aspect.
WiFi
WiFi is free in 2021. 100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength.
Eat Local
Duck and hen eggs from the Croft. Fresh fish van visits weekly. Edinbane Inn serves fresh local produce (and has regular live Scottish music), as does The Old School House and The Three Chimneys Restaurant (taxi service available).
