Overview

Situated in the most southern area of the New Forest, the Holmsley Caravan and Camping Park is ideally situated for your seaside break, being just 10 minutes drive from the unspoilt beach at Barton on Sea.

Combining the best of the forest and the Hampshire south coast, this award-winning campsite has acres of woodlands and grassland for kids to explore and is just a short drive from the wonderful beaches of Bournemouth and Christchurch.

In the summer months Ranger Activities are available to teach the whole family more about life in the forest, and the New Forest’s famous ponies are regularly seen grazing just outside the campsite. With lots of local attractions and close to picturesque villages and thriving seaside towns, Holmsley is the ideal campsite for people with a range of interests.

Worth Noting

Nearest New Forest Tour bus stop (summer only) is 1/4 mile from site entrance.

Any barbeques used on our sites should be specifically designed and used only for the purpose of cooking food (i.e not firepits). They should be robust, secure and able to be raised off of the forest floor, there should be no damage or marks left on the ground where they have been used. In support of the New Forest Action Plan we are asking campers not to bring disposable barbeques for their stay. We are also reminding campers that outside of our sites no barbeques of any kind are now allowed anywhere in the New Forest.

Please do not feed, pet or approach the animals in and around the campsite; they may look friendly but are unpredictable and can bite and kick. Please keep all food sealed and out of reach of the ponies
