Explore Great Malvern with dog-friendly walk
Dog owners are being encouraged to dump their cars and explore the Worcestershire town of Great Malvern on foot with the launch of a new dog-friendly walk that takes in its rich history and culture.
Great Malvern: Route to the Hills is an interactive, self-guided, mile-long walk that begins at the town’s Victorian station and will take in an ever-changing display of local artwork as well as the many dog-friendly shops and cafés.
David Armitage from one of the partners of this project, Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, said: “This is a really innovative way for people to appreciate our beautiful town and its fascinating history that spans centuries. We’re delighted to spearhead this interactive approach to discovery and underline the fact that there’s more to Malvern than the hills.”
Great Malvern is just 2.5 miles from Blackmore Club Site, 10 miles from Hereford Club Site and 16 miles from Winchcombe Club Site, so you can camp and explore this walking route with your furry friends and then head into the hills.
