Home > UK Campsites > Social Camping Social Camping Do you enjoy meeting new people and making new friends? Then why not make the most of social camping with the Club? What is Social Camping? Social Camping is a term the Club uses to describe the Meets and Temporary Holiday Sites organised and managed by our District Associations, Regions or Special Interest Sections. We chose this term because it explains what this style of camping is all about – camping events run by passionate members, for members who share the same interests. Social Camping offers some of the most inexpensive camping available, and you’ll always be guaranteed a warm, friendly welcome. About District Associations and Regions Find out more about the Club’s 13 Regions and 93 DAs. About Special Interest Sections Sections are voluntary clubs within the Club based around a particular hobby or interest. What is a Meet? Join in Club Meets for social camping with our friendly members. What is a Temporary Holiday Site? Holiday Sites provide inexpensive camping from five to 28 days. National Feast of Lanterns Why not join fellow Club members for the 2019 National Feast of Lanterns (NFOL) at Turnpike Showground in Dorset from Thursday 19 September to Monday 23 September 2019? How Do I Get Involved? For details of Meets and Temporary Holiday Sites, read the Out & About magazine, which is published alongside the Camping & Caravanning magazine each month.
