Fishing on site and walking and cycling in the nearby Malvern Hills & Wye Valley.

If it’s adventure in the great outdoors you’re seeking, then head to our multi award-winning Hereford Club campsite. The Malvern Hills and Wye Valley, the Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean, all ripe for adventure, are within striking distance of our campsite near the popular county town of the same name.

18 hole Golf Course and Driving Range complete with cafe and bar, located 2 miles from site.

Equally the campsite’s idyllic rural location, next to The Millpond – a stunning three-and-a-half acre fishing lake – makes it perfect for a relaxing break or simply to explore the many attractions of the area at leisure.

A lovely tree-lined driveway delivers you to our attractive Hereford campsite. The vast site caters for up to 102 units. Some of the spacious pitches overlook the fishing lake. The excellent facilities include modern amenity blocks, a playing field and a dog walk.

The pedestrianized streets of the quiet market town of Hereford are perfect for an afternoon’s stroll. The town has many black and white buildings, including the Old House. The cathedral is worth a look as is the Cider museum which offers tours. The Herefordshire Cider Route, a driving or cycling tour of the county’s farms, orchards and pubs, starts from here.

The Elgar Route is another driving trail that takes in over 40 places of interest relating to the composor’s life and music.

Head to Ross-on-Wye for Goodrich Castle, a red-sandstone stronghold. A little over two miles south, Symonds Yat is a popular beauty spot overlooking the River Wye.

If you'd like to go glamping then Hereford Ready Camp is the perfect choice. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

As a family with a Mazda Bongo we jumped at the chance to head just a few miles from home at stay at Little Tarrington. We stayed two nights in early August in blissful weather. The views from our pitch were of harvesting fields and rolling hills. Our 10 and 7 year olds made pals with other children on the site and were off playing, but always relatively close and we were assured they were safe. The bathroom and washing up facilities were impeccably clean. The shop had the fresh, local bread rolls we needed for our breakfast sausage sandwiches and the toothpaste and toothbrush for when all 4 of us forgot ours!! Friendly team with people seeming to know each other and also being welcoming to others. Absolutely excellent. There is a geocache in Tarrington, near the church, and a safe, track / field walk to reach it from the site. We ran a bar for two night with ales from our local brewery business, Swan Brewery. On the second evening Andrew, Teresa and team had organised skittles and a hog roast which was really well attended and good fun.

On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were shown to our pitch and all the facilities were explained etc. The site does state top site for dogs and fishing. I agree with the fishing part! However, we were in a motorhome with our pooch without other transport options and we felt a little trapped as the local buses don't allow dogs neither is there anywhere off site to walk the dog. There is though an on site dog walk around the fishing lake which is about three quarters of a mile so twice around that had to suffice. It is a well kept, well run, friendly site but if you take your active dog but don't have a car be clear on what's available. Oh and the Chelsea buns in the shop are to die for!

We decided to stay here for our first time camping as a family (myself, my wife and our two year old daughter). I personally have camped with my parents when much younger and can honestly say we have never stayed anywhere as welcoming and clean as this site. What blew me away was not so much the staff taking pride in the place (which they did in abundance), but the other campers/caravaners also taking pride in, small things such as mopping the floors in the shower cubicles after having a shower...just gives testament to the site on the whole really. Loved that they have fish and chip van on site on a Friday, lots of open space and the pitches aren’t cramped together like some places we looked at, and plenty of information on hand for places to visit, etc. The staff were all wonderful and remembered our names which showed we weren’t just another number. We will definitely be making this site a regular place to stay now that we have the camping bug.

This is one of the best C&CC sites we have been to.

This review is for Hereford

This is one of the best C&CC sites we have been to. The staff are friendly and helpful and the whole layout of the site has been carefully thought out so that units never seem crowded. There is plenty of space and shade, with some nice walks. The facilities are also excellent boasting the best shower block we've come across! The site is close to Hereford and Ledbury, both interesting historical towns and easily reached by bus from just outside the site. Definitely 5 stars !
