Overview

Nettwood Farm is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, nestled in the Mendip Hills with fabulous views, wooded areas, excellent village pubs and plenty of walks from our doorstep. We are a working farm so on most occasions you will see cattle, sheep and our alpaca Jock. There are 2 fields to choose from, our Lakeview with views over the Chew Valley Lake or our smaller Woodland Field next to our woods which you are welcome to explore. Both fields have play areas and their own facilities with a den building area buried in our woods. I’m sure you will appreciate all Nettwood has to offer but when you want to venture out a 15 minute car journey will take you to the City of Wells with its market, beautiful Cathedral and grounds. Wookey Hole or Cheddar Gorge and a 30 minute journey will take you to the beautiful roman City of Bath or Bristol with its harbourside, SS Great Britain and suspension bridge or Weston Super Mare and pier. Longleat Safari Park is a 40 minute drive from Nettwood. Our surrounding villages are full of child and pet friendly country pubs, cafes and farm shops offering fabulous food and hospitality.

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland
