Located on the popular Manifold Trail, you can find us between the picturesque villages of Longnor, Warslow and Hartington. A Caravan & Camping Club Certified Location, you will find a beautiful, peaceful, and friendly location awaits you.
Facilities onsite include Toilets, Hot Showers, Chemical Disposal Point, Hot & Cold Water, Hard Standing and Electric Hook-Ups. Locally there are facilities for climbing, cycling, walking, fishing, and water sports all within a 20-minute drive. The historic market towns of Leek, Buxton and Ashbourne are all within 10 miles.
Local attractions and things to do include: cycle rides and hire along the Manifold, Tissington and High Peak Trails, Fishing in the rivers Manifold and Dove, Peak Wildlife Park and local walks including Chrome Hill aka ‘The Dragons Back’ which was featured in the TV series Peaky Blinders. The Roaches is a 20-minute drive away for keen rock climbers and water sports facilities locally are Tittesworth Water, Rudyard Lake, and Carsington Reservoir. The historic Chatsworth House is 35-minute drive, whilst the thrill seekers can be entertained at Gulliver’s Kingdom and Alton Towers Amusement Parks.
This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland
