Aberystwyth - Afanfryn

Afanfryn Camping is a dog-friendly campsite run by married couple Mick and Niki Cronin situated in the Cambrian Mountains next to a working sheep farm with access to Public Transport and only 12 miles from the coastal town of Aberystwyth where there is plenty to see and do. The site makes for an ideal base due to the peaceful setting and spectacular surrounding views to escape the stress of everyday life with the opportunity to walk in the local forest only 5 minutes away on foot or to travel out and about to explore. Within the local area is the National Trust Hafod Estate and Devil’s Bridge with the spectacular waterfalls where you can board The Vale of Rheidol Steam Railway which travels to and from Aberystwyth. Only thirty minutes or less away is Strata Florida Abbey where generations of Welsh princes are buried and Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest Visitor Centre a Red Kite Feeding Centre.
