Sited on top of a limestone outcrop, this is the sight that comes to mind when most people think of an isolated and mythical Welsh Castle.

It is off the beaten track at the western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

This site also holds evidence of late Iron Age defensive structures and offers excellent views on a clear day.
