If you enjoy the wilderness and a little self-reliance then a fuel cell generator could be an increasingly attractive option. Most modern caravans and motorhomes are dependent on an electrical supply to run the basics such as the water pump and fridge, needing a healthy 12V supply from your leisure battery. Keeping this battery in a state of readiness is vital.
