Take me outdoors
Britons are more likely to explore the great outdoors on a date than go for drinks or to the cinema, according to a report released by camping and sports retailer Decathlon.
In a survey of more than 7,600 UK adults, 35 per cent said their ideal date involved exploring nature and outdoors activities. One in five said these types of dates helped them relax and break the ice, and 65 per cent said they’d be open to participating in a date that involved sports or exercise.
Decathlon has 45 stores in the UK, and is well known among fans of camping for its Quechua tents, which often score highly in the Club’s annual Tent Owner Satisfaction Survey.
