The recent Club’s Tent Owner Satisfaction Awards gave the Air Seconds the top honour in the under £300 category, with many owners commenting that the tents were easy to pitch and pack away. So if you’re looking for a tent that is easy to setup, has a reasonable height and will stand out in the crowd the Quechua Air Seconds 4.1 XL has a lot going for it – and previous owners agree. A compact tent suitable for a couple or small family, the 4.1 XL weighs in at only 12.3kg. The tunnel design gives it good head height and the three inflatable tubes go up in seconds once the groundsheet is pegged out. There’s a stiffening pole for windy conditions that sits between the front and middle air tubes, if needed. Guy lines are stored neatly with sliding toggles at each attachment point.
