Overview

  • Campsites next to or within walking distance of a beach

    Top site for beaches

Please note you will experience some noise disruption and dust at this site for the foreseeable future as there is a new housing estate being constructed next door. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Explore the beauty of England's south coast from our campsite.

With cycling and walking trails in abundance, miles of sandy beaches, bustling towns, pretty chocolate box villages and a host of family attractions within a short distance our Chichester Club Campsite offers something for everyone.

Chichester is a small, welcoming campsite. Once an orchard it is now a great base to stay when exploring the numerous attractions for all of the family.

Head across the road on foot or two wheels to enjoy the paths to the coast and Chichester harbour. Or catch a bus from outside the site to Chichester (great for shopping), Bognor, Littlehampton and Brighton in one direction and Southampton and Portsmouth (with the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Keys and the Historic Dockyard) in the other.

For a bucket and space day head to the Blue Flag beach at West Wittering where you’ll find sand dunes, sheltered waters and acres of space. East Head and Selsey too are great for lazy beach days.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora or fauna. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Worth Noting

Please note that the site cannot accept units over 8m long. Electric security barriers are in operation. There is no parking for visitors or for 2nd cars, and because of the narrow entrance road there are no overnight parking facilities. There is no Motorhome Service Point on site.

Eat Local

Chichester hosts a farmers' market twice a month. Southbourne farm shop near to site sells a range of local products and the Tupenny Barn sells organic fruit and vegetables.

A nice quiet site with good local amenities.

This review is for Chichester

A nice quiet site with good local amenities. Bus stop and Train station both within walking distance. Lovely farm shop more or less opposite site and a small supermarket within walking distance. Pub and restaurant also within walking distance, no need to drive when you stay at this site. Staff this year really welcoming, helpful and friendly. Site clean and tidy but the showers are getting a bit tired now. Personal gripe, why no temperature control on showers. Other than that a brilliant site and we will be coming again.

Nice friendly welcome on arrival and it was a nice friendly site.

Nice friendly welcome on arrival and it was a nice friendly site. My only criticism would be that the pitches are very small and cramped with barely room to put an awning up - also the lack of showers only 3 out 4 working in the ladies which is not enough for a site of this size, at 24 per night I would expect better

Dog friendly but dont exercise dogs on site.

Dog friendly but dont exercise dogs on site. Child friendly, but general feeling is a quieter space than suitable for kids. Would totally choose this quiet peaceful, pretty site for a getaway with my husband, but perhaps not with kids (no ball games etc). Facilities are clean and good. Rules are required but some overly officious staff can give an uncomfortable feeling. Staff on entry friendly and helpful, but some later in stay were rather rude - we had explained 2nd car and had been parking elsewhere, so when transferring items to pack up we had not expected within 30 seconds of parking up to be demanded whose is this car?.

Spent a lovely few days on this site - just a 10 minute walk to the sea with well signed footpaths, made use of the nearby pub and farm shop, visited Bognor Regis and Chichester by bus. We were lucky enough to catch Me and My Girl at the Festival Theatre with Matt Lucas and Caroline Quentin - fabulous. Another real find was Priory Park in the centre of Chichester - a real oasis with bowling green, cricket field and a great cafe as well as usual children's activities; an archaeological dig was also being carried out within the park at the time. The camp site itself is really well run and maintained, very clean facilities, and ideally suited to couples wanting to explore the area.
