Campsites Open All Year Round
Searching for a campsite to enjoy in the colder, off-peak months? These camping and caravan sites are open all year round, so you’re able to carry on exploring the UK in the late autumn, winter and into early spring.
All year campsites give you access to some of the best locations for watching the seasons change. From the oranges and browns of autumn to the very first frost-bitten mornings, you’re in for a treat. Below, you’ll find our campsites which remain open throughout the year, along with advice and inspiration to help you get out there.
Reasons to book a year-round campsite
The incredible outdoors doesn’t slow down for the colder months! Here are some of the reasons to continue camping when others are packing away for the winter:
Quieter camping breaks
Outside of school holidays, you'll find that our campsites in the off-season are brilliant for a quieter getaway. This is ideal if you’re hoping to relax on your pitch, taking in the surroundings and sounds of the outdoors. Equally, nearby attractions are often less busy and offer discounts for quieter periods.
Lower prices off-peak
You’ll find the cost of camping breaks in the colder months are lower than the summer, meaning you have more money to spend on attractions, indulging and booking more breaks.
Festive fun
With the winter months comes the chance to enjoy traditions and festivities. In November, organised firework events and bonfire nights supply evening entertainment. In December, historic attractions are decked to the nines, Christmas markets are brimming with festive cheer, and New Years Eve offers the chance to celebrate the coming year.
More dog-friendly activities
All our campsites are dog-friendly and in the colder months you’ll find more beaches welcome dogs, so it’s the perfect time to enjoy blustery walks with your four-legged companions
Cosy glamping stays
Take the effort out of winter camping and book a stay in year round glamping accommodation such as our Braithwaite Village Lodges in the Lake District.
