Warwick Castle
Warwick Castle is one of Britain’s top historic houses and visitor attractions. The Castle was developed from a fortification built by William the Conqueror in 1068 to help control the Midlands, and was then rebuilt in stone in the 12th century. By 1604 the castle had become ruinous and was given to Sir Fulke Greville by King James I to be converted into a country house.
