Derwentwater is surrounded by the rolling fells of the Lake District National Park in North West England.
It is renowned as a place of outstanding natural beauty with much to offer from cruises on the lake to a myriad of marked pathways and hiking routes.
There are seven lakeside marinas and boats are often available to hire at these locations. Victoria Bay is particularly lovely and is overlooked by the beautiful Brandlehow Park.
