Goodwood Racecourse

Goodwood Racecourse

Nestled in the South Downs, the extraordinary Goodwood Racecourse offers the chance to spectate motorsport, horseracing, flying, golf, shooting and cricket.

The estate has a huge sporting heritage with the story beginning with the 1st Duke of Richmond. His love of hunting led him to Goodwood in the 1690’s where the fist and most fashionable hunts in the country were based.

Flagship events at Goodwood include the Qatar Goodwood Festival, Goodwood Revival, Members Meeting and the Festival of Speed.

The house itself is home to the Earl and Countess of March provides a dramatic setting for one of the most significant private art collections in the country.

With two 18 hole courses, Goodwood invites you for a round of golf. Choose between the challenges of the Downs Course or take the more gentle option of the park. Golf at Goodwood is just as it should be, simple, accessible and flexible.

In the Goodwood Hotel the health club has state of the art equipment and a comprehensive programme of fitness classes.

The Aerodrome is a thriving hub offering exceptional flight training and unforgettable experiences.

Goodwood House Estate is near our Slindon Club Site which makes it a great visit when camping in Sussex.
