The X-Trail has been around a while now. The current generation went on sale in 2014, although there have been updates since to keep the X-Trail competitive with newer rivals.
It may not be in the first flush of youth, but the X-Trail is a well-established and popular car in caravanning circles. Buyers have the choice of one petrol or two diesel engines. The higher powered diesel, with 177PS (175bhp) was tested at the Tow Car Awards last year. So now it’s the turn of the dCi 130 4WD model.
