I first saw a Liberty caravan at the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf in 2016 and immediately fell in love with its distinctive profile. It was brand new at the time, though I later discovered the manufacturer La Mancelle has been making caravans at its base in Le Mans, France since 1960. La Mancelle is now part of the Trigano Group and one of its fellow group members, Marquis Leisure, is bringing the unusual caravans into the UK for the 2023 camping season.
