In urgent need of water and electricity for his Diddly Squat Farm Shop, the outspoken motoring broadcaster and journalist asked for support from the neighbouring Chipping Norton Club Site.

In return, Clarkson – who has been notoriously outspoken about his dislike of caravans throughout his career – featured a fun promotion for the Club.

Despite his tongue-in cheek delivery, the images of Clarkson seated in a camping chair on our Chipping Norton Club Site, and peering out of the window of a Bailey caravan, have been a huge hit on social media among fans of our great pastime.
