Celebrating 125 years of you
Thanks to you and every member, the Club is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2026. This amazing achievement is all yours. Those years are filled with your experiences and your memories.
To celebrate, we’d love you to read your best camping story. All you need to do is tell us about the loveliest, funniest or most incredible thing that happened to you – or a family member in the past – while camping with us.
Send us your best camping story and you could win one of 10 £125 Club Site vouchers AND see your tale featured in our anniversary celebrations next year.
Whether it’s the time the car broke down and you pitched up on a milk float, or when your engagement ring went missing only to turn up a year later when you washed your sleeping bag.
Not a wordsmith? Don’t worry.
You don’t need to be a professional writer for your story to stand out. And it doesn’t need to be long. All that matters is that it’s real and meaningful to you. Every tale can inspire your fellow members to get out and enjoy the incredible outdoors.
Using the form below will make it easier for you to write your story and for us to read it. If yours is chosen for our campaign, we’ll work with you to make it a fitting part of our anniversary celebrations.

The Promoter
The promoter of this competition is The Camping and Caravanning Club, Greenfields House, Westwood Way, Coventry, CV4 8JH.

Competition Period
The competition opens on 17 November 2025 and closes on 14 December 2025. Any entries received outside this period will not be considered.

Eligibility
This competition is open to all Club members, under 18’s must seek parental permission before entering. Employees of The Camping and Caravanning Club, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter
Visit The Camping and Caravanning Club's website and upload your completed story by following the instructions provided on the page.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.

Entry Requirements
- Any personal data collected will be treated in accordance with current data protection legislation. We will use your personal data for the administration of the competition only.
- Entries must not contain any offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content.
- Competition is only open to Camping and Caravanning Club members, and memory must have been at a Camping and Caravanning Club Site, Certificated Site or Meet/THS.

The Prize
Ten memories will be chosen to be published across our digital and print channels and will be edited for use across our digital and print channels. Winners will receive £125 worth of Club Site vouchers. Separate Terms and Conditions of use apply - see below.
This voucher is for payment or part-payment of camping fees on UK Club Sites only (excludes Bellingham, Charmouth, Cheddar, Hereford and Skye).
- This voucher cannot be used on Certificated Sites.
- No cash alternative will be offered for any voucher. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
- This voucher must be redeemed before the expiry date. Expiry dates cannot be extended under any circumstances.
- To redeem; please contact the Club’s Marketing and Communications team as detailed in covering letter.
- The Club’s standard refund and cancellation policy applies to all bookings.
- Minimum booking period may apply.
- All pitches are subject to availability.
- No photocopies will be accepted. The Camping and Caravanning Club reserves the right to refuse a voucher which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud.
- The Club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time upon reasonable notice.
- Voucher must be redeemed by 31st December 2026.
- This voucher cannot be used online.

Winner Selection
A panel of judges appointed by The Camping and Caravanning Club will select the winning entries, including one independent judge. The judges' decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entries will be judged on how well they demonstrate your experience, genuine emotional connection to nature, and featuring your single most inspiring camping memory.
The winners will be notified by email or telephone within 10 working days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 working days of the first attempt, The Camping and Caravanning Club reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
By claiming your prize, you consent to The Camping and Caravanning Club using your story and name in our digital and print marketing, including but not limited to the website, social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram and our email channels.

Intellectual Property and Usage Rights
By submitting your memories, you grant The Camping and Caravanning Club a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and publish your entry for promotional and marketing purposes related to this competition.
The winner agrees to assign all intellectual property rights to The Camping and Caravanning Club. This includes the right for The Camping and Caravanning Club to use the quotes on products, merchandise, and for any other commercial purpose.

Data Protection
Any personal data collected will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
Personal data provided during entry will only be used for the administration of this prize draw unless the participant has opted in to receive marketing communications.
Data will be handled in accordance with the promoter’s privacy policy.

General Conditions
The Camping and Caravanning Club reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition and these Terms and Conditions at any time upon reasonable notice. The Camping and Caravanning Club will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason, including but not limited to technical issues or postal delays.
