About Tavistock Goose Fair

Dating back to the 12th century, Tavistock Goose Fair is an event held annually on the 2nd Wednesday in October. People come from far and wide to join in the local festivities. Each year there is stalls selling a range of products, including clothes, crystals, handmade candles, jewellery, arts, crafts and a vast array of authentic food stalls to choose from. Other activities include fairground rides and children's entertainment.

Time: Open until 10pm

Parking information: 

• There is a park and ride system operating from Yelvertorn, Gulworthy and Whitchurch Down
• Regular buses  - you will need to purchase bus tickets
• Disabled parking exclusively on Goose Fair Day
