Getting to SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth
This aquarium is in a central location on Great Yarmouth’s Marine Parade, making it easy to get to.
If travelling by car, you’ll need to park in one of the pay and display carparks along the sea front as this attraction doesn’t have dedicated parking. It’s around a 25-minute drive to the Marine Parade car parks from our Kessingland Club Site. If you’re travelling from our Norwich Club Site, it’ll take around 40 minutes by car.
If you’re on the Coastal Clipper Cabriolet 1C bus route, this stops right outside SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth. You’ll need to catch a connecting bus to join this route otherwise. Plan your public transport journey.
SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth Tickets
Book your tickets to SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth. General admission tickets are available online and in person on the day, however you’ll get better rates by booking in advance.
There is a range of options available, including an adult and toddler ticket, student tickets, and a ticket that includes entry to the virtual reality experience.

The aquarium is divided into Interactive themed zones:
- Rock Pool Explorer – full of creatures which live in the shallow pools around the coast. You’ll get the chance to touch rockpool creatures like starfish and see a camouflaging octopus!
- Under the Ray-dar – enter the yellow research submarine to see rays and other marine life native to the UK.
- Crocodile Enclosure – meet two of the world’s smallest crocodiles at just 5ft long.
- Penguins – see the mischievous Humboldt penguins waddling, swimming and sliding around.
- Jelly Invaders – a colourful display showcasing the fascinating world of jellyfish.
- Tropical Ocean Display – walk through the Ocean Tank and Tunnel to see some of the most amazing sea creatures including sharks.
- Pirate Reef – SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth’s colourful selection of coral reefs, where you’ll find one of the ocean's best-known fish – the clownfish.
Make a note of talks and feeding times prior to your visit for the chance to see your favourite sea creatures being fed.
Virtual Reality at SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth
You can either pay per VR experience or book your entry tickets to include the VR to make the most of this attraction. There are four different sea creature-themed experiences so that you can choose your favourite. The options include:

- Swimming with Humpbacks
- Legend of Lusca
- A Mermaids Quest

Food and drink
