What to Expect:
Following the success of Lakefest 2021, we are delighted to be able to offer our members an excellent ticket and pitch rate for Lakefest 2022.
Members will have access to a dedicated camping area within the stunning grounds of Herefordshire’s Eastnor Castle, that sits on the edge of the North Cotswolds, and is just as short a run to Monmouthshire.
Lakefest will be up and running from 11th August – 14th August with their best line-up yet. Including headline performances from The Manic Street Preachers, Supergrass, Leftfield and UB40, alongside hundreds of other bands and performers.
There will be fun for all the family from face-painting, BMX displays and circus workshops to fun fair rides and video gaming. Eastnor Castle will also be offering 50% discount for entry to the castle during the festival. This will be a perfect way to see out the school holiday period.
Club members will have a dedicated camping area with 120 pitches, sited together, and with their own toilet and shower blocks. The area will be tower-lit by night, and will benefit from regular security patrols, night and day.
Unfortunately, due to the extraordinary circumstances around energy infrastructure, and generator diesel costs, electrical hook-up will not be available.
There is a 20 minutes country walk from our pitches to the main entrance of the arena, but the festival organisers have arranged for transfer vehicles to be made available for those with significant mobility issues. These will be coordinated by the Lakefest ‘Gold’ concierge team on site.
As with 2021, The Woodcutter Lodge will be offering a 20% discount on all food and drink purchased there. A peaceful place, with free wi-fi, where you can (if you must) catch up with the outside world.
Every member who takes advantage of this exclusive offer will be entered into a free draw to win upgrades for their party: giving access to the VIP ‘Gold’ marquee, and into another free draw to meet, and chat with The British Army Freefall Display team, The Red Devils; who, after last years success, will be jumping back in. A chance for kids of all ages to grab a selfie with the greatest sky-dive team, in the world.
Tickets and club camping pricing:
- Adult ticket: £150 each
- Teen (13-17): £89 each
- Child (6-12): £75 each
- Infant (0-5): Free
- Camping pitch fee: £100
The site will be open to members from Wednesday afternoon, 10th August to Monday lunch-time, 15th August.
