Visiting Coughton Court
Coughton Court is an exceptional Tudor country house dating back to around 1510. It has a crenelated front façade which conceals two significant wings that enclose a large rear three-side courtyard. The estate features two churches, two separate gardens and a small lake. It has strong links with the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 when it was used to store weapons and ammunition.
