John and Sylvia Middleton were members of the Club from 1971 until 2009 when they gave up caravanning. Sadly, John passed away in 2014. Before he died John wrote about his early camping days and we share his memories here. John and Sylvia's eldest daughter Annette continues his story with her own fond memories of camping with her father and then her own family.
