Winter is the toughest time of year. The weather can be harsh, and the days are at their coldest and darkest. But it’s not all doom and gloom. In fact, winter is a great time for wildlife spotting. It’s when many bird species start to gather in great numbers along our coast and seal colonies haul themselves from the sea and make claim to the beach.
