For regular campers, a gas barbecue is often considered more convenient – and the cleaner option. However, when it comes to taste, cooking over charcoal or an open fire is hard to beat for the wonderful, deep smoky flavour that is imparted into meat and fish. Fear not gas barbecue owners, there is an easy way to add that much loved smokiness to your food too with a little bit of ingenuity and know how, plus some aluminium foil and wood chips.
