The gorgeous berry colour was the first thing that appealed to me about this dual-chamber 30-litre rucksack.
Ideal for all-day walks, the ACS Hike 30 women's brochure spec had plenty to shout about, from its Air Control System – featuring a curved design to keep the weight from pressing directly against your back while also aiding ventilation – to its reflective detailing and ergonomic padded adjustable shoulder straps. The ACS Hike 30 Women Hiking Backpack is smart enough for city or country It was perfectly comfortable to wear in just a T-shirt and though I had it stuffed pretty full with a fleece, raincoat, food, spare weekend clothing and washkit it never felt awkward or cumbersome. There’s a handy zip pouch on the waist belt and I’m still finding new storage pockets (there’s eight in total) neatly placed, not to mention the hanging loops on the top and side for trekking poles and other items. For those who like to use hydration packs rather than bottles, the pack is equipped for the task. The lower zip pocket, where the bag’s rain cover is stowed, could also store a lightweight sleeping bag or roll mat and is also ideal for separating any wet kit from the main compartment. Over the years my rucksack collection has become larger than my handbags – I’ve spent a while looking for just the right one and think I’ve finally found it.
