I do enjoy a tent that’s different in some way. It’s more of a talking point and turns heads on site. That’s perhaps why I’m so taken by the Robens Chinook. It’s a 2019 model that follows on from the success of the Robens Klondike and previous tepee-style tents made by the manufacturer over the years. The design is extremely similar, the Klondike and the Chinook differing marginally, but one key change is that the Chinook does away with the low side walls that gave the Klondike more of a bell tent feel. Guying points are also added high up the body for extra stability.
