Traditionally, campers have used gas-, liquid- or solid-fuelled stoves for cooking but in recent years more people have been choosing a pitch with an electric hook-up. In most cases, you’ll be paying a fixed amount for the electricity so there’s a definite argument for using it for cooking if you can.
