All 2019 model motorhomes from Swift will now be equipped with VIN CHIP, an industry-leading technology that uses RFID chips hidden on the vehicle to ensure that the body and chassis will always be identifiable.

Nick Page, Swift Group Commercial Director, said: “Swift takes customer security incredibly seriously. VIN CHIP is already fitted to all our caravans and we’re delighted to now introduce it to all Swift motorhomes. The industry standard in this type of security, VIN CHIP uses state-of-the-art technology to prevent vehicles being given new identities in the unfortunate event they are stolen.”
VIN CHIP was first launched in 2015 and it is estimated that nearly 100,000 touring caravans have the system fitted today.
