Salop Leisure resort scoops tourism award
A camping and caravanning resort owned by one of the Club’s Preferred Dealers has been presented with the Shrewsbury Mayor’s Award for Tourism just one year after its opening.
Love2Stay, owned by Salop Leisure, received the award due to achievements in promoting Shrewsbury as a visitor destination.
Geoff Plumridge, who manages Love2Stay with his wife Laura, said: “Winning this award is such a great achievement so soon after the business started. Our aim has always been to promote Shrewsbury and bring more visitors to the area, so we are pleased that we have been able to make such a valuable contribution to the local economy.”
The resort features 124 touring caravan pitches, 11 luxury glamping lodges on a 22-acre site that not only offers panoramic views of the Shropshire Hills and Wales, but also houses attractions like a children’s adventure playground, fitness suite, fishing lake and barefoot sensory trail.
