Calling all motorhome owners: how do you use yours
The Club has joined forces with motorhome-focused membership organisations throughout Europe in an online survey.
The purpose is to learn how owners, enthusiasts and renters use their units to tour and enjoy holidaying acros the continent.
Club members are invited to have their say in the online survey which consists of 25 questions, and asks for feedback on a number of key behaviours among motorhomers. It asks which camping units they own, use or rent, what they like most about motorhoming, and how often they get away.
It also asks which countries they’ve visited, who they usually travel with, whether they use campsites or Aires, how much they spend on average on tour, and which pursuits and activities they get involved with while on motorhoming holidays.
The whole thing should take no more than 5-10 minutes to complete, and is one of the outcomes of a conference the Club attended in 2017 along with a number of European camping and motorhoming bodies.
Representatives from the German, French and Austrian Camping Clubs, the Caravan and Motorhome Club, and the International Federation of Camping and Caravanning (FICC) shared insight and information on their motorhoming members, and agreed to have input to a pan-European survey.
The FICC comprises more than 50 federations and clubs from more than 30 countries, and the Club is a member organisation.
We’ll publish the findings, and hope to make use of the results to better understand modern motorhomers and their needs across Europe.
