In 2011 six films were uploaded to the Club’s own YouTube channel, opening with Share the Adventure, a short film introducing the Club.

The channel now hosts films on a huge range of topics, from video reviews of the latest camping units and tow cars to Eat Local cooking demonstrations with Ali Ray.

The most popular video is a tongue-in-cheek review of the Playmobil motorhome, which has been watched more than 162,000 times.

The latest video features Club member Dave Cheney speaking about his work restoring the historic tow car and caravan outfit given to former Chief Scout and Club President Lord Robert Baden-Powell by the Scouts of the world to celebrate the movement’s 21st birthday.

While most viewers live in the UK, people as far afield as the USA, South Korea and Brazil have dropped in to catch up on the latest movies from the Friendly Club.
