The Club’s social meets provide friendly, affordable camping on a variety of sites, run by members for members. Until now meets and temporary holiday sites have been listed in the magazine and on the Club’s website. With the app, members can now store details of the thousands of meets organised every year on their smartphones or tablets, and search by location, date or organiser.

Chris Archer, Chairman of the Club’s Communications Committee, said: “We’re delighted to announce the Out & About app is ready for members to download. Social camping is at the heart of the Club and this app brings us right up to date".

The Out & About section on the website has also had a redesign to introduce the ‘search by location’ option, after research showed that members like to camp with DAs in different areas as part of a touring holiday.

Log on to the Out & About section of the Club's website to see the new online search and to download the app, available for both iOS and Android devices. The apps are also available from the Apple store and Google Play.
