The installation, consisting of approximately 800 panels mounted on its roof, has the potential to produce two thirds of the facility’s annual power requirement, and the manufacturer expects to recoup the cost in four years.

The investment comes as part of a company-wide energy management programme which has the aim of considerably reducing power consumption across Bailey’s sites as well as generating its own energy through solar power.
