Tomorrow's campervans at commercial vehicle show
More than 200 exhibitors turned out to showcase new vehicles and emerging technologies at the Commercial Vehicle Show in April at Birmingham's NEC.
Each year the show offers a glimpse of motorhome base vehicles of the future.
The show highlighted a notable industry push towards electric-only commercial vehicles, as well as a couple of units powered by hydrogen.
Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) launches included the all-new Ford E-Transit Courier which has the option of a petrol, diesel or allelectric powertrain (main picture), the lveco eDaily with its impressive 4.6-tonne payload, Maxus' pure-electric panel van, the eDeliver 7 , and an electric vehicle platform, the eCVl, from new British brand Watt Electric Vehicle Company (WEVC) (right).
